This summer season at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade brings a significant expansion of the network of destinations and additional strengthening of Serbia's connection with Europe and the world, confirming the success of the concession partnership and the continuous development of Belgrade Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network.

During the summer season, passengers can choose within a network of 118 direct destinations, including six long-haul routes, achieved through successful cooperation with airlines operating at Belgrade Airport, including the national airline Air Serbia. This record seasonal offer is a continuation of the historical results achieved in 2025, when Nikola Tesla Airport handled a record 8.9 million passengers and more than 89,500 flights.

One of the key novelties of this season is the re-establishment of the direct connection between Belgrade and Toronto, which was launched in May after many years. The return of this important intercontinental connection represents a significant step in the further development of long-haul traffic and additionally confirms Belgrade's position as a growing regional aviation hub.

This season, 8 new direct routes are available to passengers, including Santorini, Riga, Baku, Nizhny Novgorod, Cologne, Pisa, Brac and Seville, while at the same time the number of weekly flights to popular summer destinations in Italy, Greece and Spain has increased. In this way, travelers get a greater choice of travel options, as well as greater flexibility when planning vacations and business trips.

In parallel with the expansion of the network of destinations, Belgrade Airport continues to improve the quality of services and the overall passenger experience. A special focus during the busiest part of the year was placed on improving every segment of the passenger experience, using more efficient operational processes, improving passenger flow through the terminal and applying modern technological solutions that enable greater efficiency, reliability and predictability in daily operations.

In order to start their journey as simply as possible and without delay, passengers are recommended to arrive at the airport at least two and a half hours before the scheduled departure, to plan in advance to use one of the six official airport parking lots, as well as to prepare their travel documents and luggage in accordance with passport and security control procedures. For additional time savings, fast-track services are available through the departure section of the terminal, as well as automatic passport control for adult passengers.

All improvements are part of the strategic commitment of Belgrade Airport to provide passengers with safe, efficient and pleasant travel experience, while further strengthening the position of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport as a leading regional aviation hub in Southeast Europe.
