Belgrade Airport joins international Sunflower program, an inclusive program designed to make travel more accessible for people with hidden disabilities.
This program enables passengers with hidden disabilities the option to discreetly signal their needs to airport staff through the use of Sunflower lanyards, available in the airport terminals. The Sunflower lanyards are available at 6 locations at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport – at Information desk, at all 3 already available departing PRM areas located in both Terminal 1 and 2, as well as at 2 transfer desks.
Passengers can simply ask our employees for the Sunflower lanyard as specially trained airport teams will adapt their assistance to this category of passengers during their entire stay at the airport.
By joining the international Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, Belgrade Airport strengthens its commitment to provide more inclusive hospitality and tailored assistance throughout the passenger journey, in line with VINCI Airports’ quality of service policy. Belgrade Airport joins a program which is already implemented in over 327 airports in 70 countries and 23 airlines around the world. Belgrade Airport is also one of the first within VINCI Airports network to introduce this program, since it has been implemented so far within the VINCI Airports group at London Gatwick, Lyon, Belfast, Edinburgh and Budapest airports.
Belgrade Airport will continue with improvements in order to complete the passenger experience in the terminal, enabling safe, fast and pleasant travel experience.
